This is not the UAV “iPhone 7S”: DJI Phantom 4 Pro Unboxing

Many people are reluctant to buy iPhone “S series”, as all minor repairs in Apple’s S generation, even appearance did not change.
The so-called Drone Apple — DJI, under the banner of the Phantom Drone, will “inherit” the apple “fine tradition”, from the beginning of the first generation Phantom, the appearance is not too big change, but the Phantom 4 upgrade version Phantom 4 Pro – appearance only minor repairs change.
But it’s inside, not minor repairs changes.

Compared to Phantom 4 and Mavic Pro, Phantom 4 Pro no special breakthrough change, but because of its strong upgrade, it is also a worthy product.

Viewed from the front (pictured above), almost identical to Phantom 4.
From the side view (above), the biggest difference between Phantom 4 is the infrared sensor.
From the back (pictured above), the biggest difference with the Phantom 4 is a group of more visual binocular camera.

From the front looks, Phantom 4 Pro as if with Phantom 4. But together to see (above), you will find the Phantom 4 Pro binocular camera lens position has a little down.
According to DJI statement: due to Phantom 4 Pro pre expanded visual obstacle avoidance, rear vision obstacle avoidance elevation; elevation the fuselage can provide more tilt, can open a visual obstacle avoidance situation, flying faster but also need a binocular camera down.

Above is the old Phantom 4 lens, F2.8 aperture, FOV about 94 degrees.


Phantom 4 Pro uses a 1 inch sensor, the sensitivity of the area larger than the 1/2.3 sensor equipped with Phantom 4.


In addition, the Phantom 4 Pro camera (pictured above) is also thicker.


Phantom 4 camera (above) is significantly thinner than Phantom 4 Pro.


On the left is Phantom 4, on the right is Phantom 4 Pro (above). The motor has minor changes with no longer use reed, instead of using the spring to dismantle the propeller lock.


Above is Phantom 4, the below is Phantom 4 Pro (pictured above). The larger position of the electric radiator, it is estimated that the Phantom 4 Pro may use a higher power motor.


Above is Phantom 4 Pro, the below is Phantom 4 (above). Both blades are basically the same, but for a more handsome bag.


On the left is Phantom 4, on the right is Phantom 4 Pro (above). Phantom 4 battery capacity of 5350mAh, while the Phantom 4 Pro battery is 5870 mAh. However, DJI official said they can share.

Remote Control


It comes with a remote control of the screen Phantom 4 Pro+ (no screen with no +), but this version will be more expensive than the ordinary remote control.


Comes with a version of the screen (on the left) with a 1000 cd/m multi touch brightness, much more brightness than iPhone Plus (right). (the top of the screen are used to maximize brightness)


Bring their own version of the screen (on the left) no longer need to connect the phone or tablet, but also more portable, relatively convenient.


Comes with a version of the screen (upper left) a high degree of integration.


Phantom 4 Pro remote control (including without the screen) (upper left), metal screen bracket using integrated design, more firmly buckle.


Another new design of Phantom 4 Pro remote control  (on the left), is added to the HDMI interface.


Specifications of Phantom 4 Pro remote control same as Phantom 4’s, but because Phantom 4 Pro can support both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz, in principle, they can not be compatible.
