Arctic Enterprises, the manufacturer of Arctic Cat snowmobiles, acquired General Leisure Products (formerly General Appliance) of Omaha, Nebraska in 1971. General Appliance built lawn mowers under a number of brands including Lawn Lion, Bonanza, Mow-Rite, Vacumaire, and Torque-o-matic. The Arctic name was placed on lawn mowers and they were sold through Arctic Cat dealerships. The venture was unsuccessful and mower production stopped in 1974.Arctic Cat - official site
